A preliminary hearing has been re-set for June for former Tower Hill Village Treasurer Nancy Finley, accused of stealing village funds.

Finley is charged with theft of more than $100,000 in funds, which is a Class X felony, meaning if she is convicted of the charge, she would have to serve from six to 30 years' prison time.

Finley was charged last November. She served as treasurer in Tower Hill from May 2010 to the end of 2016.

Finley, who no longer lives in Tower Hill, will next be in court on June 4. No trial date has been set. She was released after posting $5,000 cash bond.
