The Effingham Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has announced the launch of a brand-new program called, “Made in Effingham!”

#MadeinEffingham will highlight local makers - those in Effingham County who use local resources for their craft. Whether they paint, sculpt, brew, cook with locally sourced foods or anything in between, the CVB says it "wants to support those who help make Effingham the vibrant and extraordinary community that it is!"

Each month, an Effingham Maker will be featured on the CVB website, as well as on their social media pages, as their “Maker of the Month.” This month’s maker, the first featured maker, is local photographer Tytia Habing.

If you feel you may be one of the Effingham Makers, and would like to be featured in the coming months, check out the CVB website for more information: http://www.visiteffinghamil.com/play/madeineffingham.

Not a maker? You can still get involved! Share your experiences with local makers by using the hashtag “#MadeinEffingham.”
