(JAYNE MILLER OF THE CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE IS RECOGNIZED AS CITY EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER BY MAYOR PRO-TEAM MERV GILLENWATER)

The Effingham City Council Tuesday honored Jayne Miller as the City's Employee of the Quarter.

Here's the statement released by the City on Miller's recognition...

"The City of Effingham would like to congratulate Jayne Miller on being awarded Employee of the Quarter as a part of the City’s Employee Recognition Program. The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who demonstrated either distinguished or extraordinary service during the fiscal quarter or other accomplishments that typically go unnoticed but are worthy of recognition.

"Miller was nominated for being the glue that keeps the Engineering Department together. In her 20 plus years with the City of Effingham, she continually has gone above and beyond her job duties. Her impeccably detailed records and ability to keep track of complex, multi-funded projects are instrumental in keeping the Engineering Department organized and on task. She has constantly gone above and beyond her workload to make sure projects stay on schedule. She works well with other departments and is a valuable and deserving employee."

The City appreciates your continued participation in the Employee Recognition Program. If you notice a City employee going above and beyond to serve you, please let them know at City Hall at 217-342-5300, emailing jkemper@effinghamil.com or by using the Effingham Connection App.
