South Central School District officials have set the date for a ribbon-cutting and plaque dedication ceremony for the high school building in Farina.

Superintendent Kerry Herdes said the ceremony will take place at 6pm on Wednesday, February 28.

The project includes six new classrooms, as well as a cafeteria addition and a band/chorus room and stage area.

The work at the high school building in Farina followed a renovation and expansion project at the grade school building in Kinmundy.
