Neoga school board members have approved a bus lease contract.

The agreement with Midwest Transit Equipment is for five years. Five new buses will be leased at a cost of $12,000 per bus per year.

The Board also accepted the upcoming retirement of teacher Lori Beals. The retirement is as of the end of the 2021-2022 school year.

Superintendent Ben Johnson reported that the district budget is on track, having made 50% of its expenditures at the halfway point of the fiscal year.

The Board also tabled any consideration of selling the former elementary school building.
