Veterans Service Office in Paris Moving to New Location

The Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) announces that the Veteran Service Office that was located at the USDA Farm Service Agency is moving to the newly renovated American Legion Post 211, located at 1031 N. Main Street in Paris.  The first day for this office is this Wednesday, January 10.

For the last several years, the USDA and their staff offered space to the IDVA for the Veteran Service Officer to meet with Edgar County Veterans. Having vital partners like the USDA allowed IDVA to assist numerous Edgar County Veterans.

Blake Leitch, the Veteran Service Officer will continue to be available at this new location on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, with operating hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be closed for lunch from 12 – 1pm.
