Crash Injures Two at Maple and Jefferson

A crash at Maple and Jefferson in Effingham injured two people in one of the vehicles involved.

The crash happened at 1:50pm Tuesday, and was reported by city police today.

Police say a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Steven Bone of Effingham rear-ended a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Cristi Lawrence of Beecher City. 

Lawrence and her passenger, 46-year-old Anita Lash of Mason, were injured, but both refused treatment.

No citations were issued.
