Arrest Made in Decatur Death of Effingham Man

Decatur police have arrested a Decatur man in connection with the Saturday night shooting death of an Effingham man.

Decatur detectives arrested 26-year-old Keirsean M. Bond just after 3pm Monday on charges of first degree murder and armed robbery. Police said Bond's arrest was made in conjunction with the shooting death of Todd Feldkamp of Effingham, which occurred in the area of 1660 North Edward Street in Decatur. Officers were dispatched to the area regarding a call that shots had been fired, and found Feldkamp dead.

There was another victim shot who subsequently survived. The identity of the 25-year-old man, also from Effingham, has not been released by police.
