Injury Crash in Effingham Tuesday

Injuries resulted from a crash in Effingham Tuesday morning.

City police say a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Dana Scott of Effingham struck a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Claudia Rico-Gonzalez of Effingham. The crash happened at 7:51am at the intersection of Linden and Edgar.

Three passengers in the Rico-Gonzalez vehicle were injured and were taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Scott was cited for failure to yield at an intersection.
