Friday Crash Injures Effingham Woman

A Friday morning crash resulted in injuries to an Effingham woman.

The crash happened at 8:04am at 1101 South Willow Street.

Effingham City Police report a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Kimberly Deters of Teutopolis rear-ended a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Robin Plummer of Effingham.

Plummer was injured and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Deters was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
