Effingham City Police have released information on two crashes that occurred earlier this week.

One occurred at 3:39pm Monday at Fayette and Henrietta. Police say a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Jada Suckow of Altamont struck a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Chaleana Norton of Sullivan. Norton and two passengers in Norton's vehicle, six-year-old Sofia Hammel and 11-year-old Keeliana Norton, both of Sullivan, were all injured. Chaleana and Keeliana both refused treatment, but Hammel was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

The other crash occurred at 6:58am Tuesday at Fayette and Maple. Police report a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Collin Funneman of Teutopolis turned in front of, and was struck by, a vehicle driven by 62-year-old Nancy Haslett of St. Elmo.

Haslett was injured and was taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

No citations were issued in either crash.
