Sanitation Service is Chamber Member of Month

The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce has recognized Sanitation Service, Inc. as the October Chamber Member of the Month.

Sanitation Service, Inc has been in business for 58 years. The company provides waste management services that include everyday trash pickup for residential and commercial customers. In addition, the company is involved in removing hazardous waste, construction debris and other special waste and keeps pace with state of the art equipment to serve its clients. In 2005, they expanded their services with the purchase of Effingham County Recycling.

Sanitation Service supports many community organizations and activities, providing waste management services for the EffingHAM-JAM and Artisan Fair, Effingham Performance Center and Community Pool, as well as the donation of land for the completion of the west end of the TREC Trail and the parking lot for the Richard E. Workman Sports & Wellness Complex. Company associates Dick Deibel, Brian & Julia Hayes support Chamber events, including the Fall Social, Business After Hours, First Friday Luncheons and more.
