Altamont Man Given Three-Year Prison Term

Altamont resident Brett Galloway has been sentenced to three years in prison.

The 21-year-old Galloway pleaded guilty to a theft count stemming from an incident late in September.

Galloway was on probation for a separate theft count from 2015 and for a count of aggravated domestic battery for strangling another individual. Those probations have been revoked due to the new theft count and Galloway is headed for prison on the new theft count.
