Park Board Discusses Adventure Camp

Effingham Park Board commissioners got an update on this year's Adventure Camp at this week's meeting.

The day-long camp offered for several weeks during the summer months was well-received with a lot of youthful participants. The discussion centered on ways the program could be improved for next year.

Park District Director Jeff Althoff shared fall enrollment numbers. Althoff said flag football numbers are about the same as last year, while soccer numbers are up a little from a year ago.
