The Effingham City Council discussed several issues at a Council Retreat Friday morning, but took no action.

The Council also decided against moving into closed session on any of the matters.

City Admnistrator Jim Arndt said three items earned the majority of the focus.

One item was the Fire Station #3 on South Banker, another was an order of succession in light of several upcoming retirements of City personnel, and the third item was the City's membership in and contribution to the Effingham Regional Growth Alliance, also known as The Alliance.

Once again, no action was taken by the Council at the meeting.
