Beecher City Teen Injured in Crash

A Beecher City teenager was injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening.

18-year-old Phillip Logsdon was westbound on 2100th Avenue, just west of 250th Street in Liberty Township when the crash occurred at 5:46pm. 

Effingham County Sheriff's Department reports Logsdon's car left the roadway and struck a bridge abutment, then spun in the roadway. Logsdon was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Logsdon was cited for improper lane usage.
