Single Vehicle Crash Leaves Flora Teens Injured

Effingham County Sherrif's Office reports that on Friday night at 11:28pm a car driven by Isaiah Kuhn, 16 of Flora, was traveling south on US Highway 45  just north of 500th avenue. The car then left the right side of the roadway and traveled over 300 feet in the grass embankment before striking a power pole.

Both Kuhn and his passenger, Charles Warren 14 of Flora, were injured and taken to HSHS St. Anthony Hospital for treatment.

Kuhn was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
