City police have details in on a couple of earlier crashes.

Two people were injured in a crash on Friday at 2:25pm north of the intersection of Henrietta and Fayette.

A vehicle driven by 48-year-old Julie Aderman of Farina pulled into the path of, and was struck by, a vehicle driven by 48-year-old Leslie Caughran of Lawrenceville. Both drivers were injured. Caughran refused treatment, but Aderman was taken by private vehicle to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Aderman was cited for failure to yield.

One injury reported in a crash at Fayette and Mulberry at 3:42pm Sunday.

A vehicle driven by 36-year-old Rachel Mathis of Effingham rear-ended a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Thomas Klein of Effingham. Klein was injured, but refused treatment.

No citations were issued.
