Both Drivers Injured in Crash at Banker and Fayette

Both drivers were injured in a collision at Banker and Fayette Tuesday morning.

City police say a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Ana Salgado of Effingham struck a vehicle driven by 32-year-old David Buening of Effingham at 6:45am.

Buening refused treatment, but Salgado was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Salgado was cited for no valid driver's license and failure to yield.
