Effingham Resident Injured in Crash on Moccasin Road

An Effingham resident was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Summit Township Tuesday evening.

19-year-old Hudson Graham was traveling on the Moccasin Road, just east of Lake Sara Road when he lost control of his car on the recently rocked roadway. The car ran off the road to the right and overturned into a cornfield.

Graham was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Graham was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

The crash happened just after 5:30pm.
