Eclipse Glasses Giveaway Postponed Til Friday

Due to a high demand, the City of Effingham’s Tourism Office, the Effingham Fire Department and the City of Effingham’s Emergency Management Agency are postponing the distribution of solar eclipse glasses until the following events:

• August 11th: Our Town: Best of Effingham Downtown Party in downtown Effingham from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• August 15th: City Hall Selfie Day at Effingham City Hall from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Please stop by these events to get your glasses, while supplies last. The City thanks Ameren for helping purchase the solar eclipse glasses.
