Teenager Struck by Car in Effingham Thursday Evening

A teenager was struck by a car in Effingham Thursday evening.

15-year-old Zildjian Greenwood of Effingham ran across the road and was struck by a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Isabella Hall of Effingham. The crash occurred at 6:28pm at 5th and Fayette.

Greenwood was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. No citations were issued.
