Walmart Back to Normal After Evacuation Sunday Evening

Things are back to normal today at the Effingham Walmart.

The store was evacuated Sunday evening. Effingham City Police Chief Jeff Fuesting responded to a text message regarding the incident about 9:15pm Sunday. The chief said, "Walmart made a decision to evacaute based on a phone call received."

We phoned the store for comment and the individual who answered the phone said the store had no comment and then hung up.

There were no problems found, and it's business as usual at the store.
