The Midland States Bank Foundation has announced a contribution to Community Support Systems (CSS) of Teutopolis in support of that organization’s community assistance programs.

Midland’s contribution of $50,000 will help fund the organization’s residential program. CSS provides people with disabilities a chance to realize their goals, giving its residents the chance to learn, live, work and play. The donation will allow CSS to renovate its residential buildings to provide its residents with their own room. This will improve the quality of life of residents, giving them more independence and more opportunities to thrive.

“CSS is very fortunate to have friends and supporters like Midland States Bank.” said Andy Kistler, Executive Director of Community Support Systems. Kistler continued, “It is because of the generosity of businesses like Midland States Bank that CSS is able to provide exceptional services to program participants and their families. The contribution of Midland States Bank will make a lasting impact upon the lives of our program participants and their families.”

The Midland States Bank Foundation was created to provide for the improvement of the general welfare, education and health in the communities where the bank operates and where its employees reside. Since its creation in 2011, the Foundation has contributed more than $500,000 to non-profit organizations in Midland’s footprint.

“In only our seventh year, I am pleased at the amount of support we have been able to provide in the various communities we serve,” commented Leon Holschbach, CEO of Midland States Bank. “Through the Foundation, we enhance our ability to live up to our ‘Great Strength. More Heart.’ commitment by providing resources that can have a favorable impact.”
