Sacred Heart Parish has announced an official Installation Mass for Fr. Michal Rosa, to be held on Monday, July 10, at 6:00pm in the Church.

Bishop Thomas J. Paprocki will celebrate the Installation Mass, which is required canonically to officially recognize Fr. Michal as the presiding Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Effingham.

A number of area priests, deacons, and seminarians will also be present for the Installation to show support for Fr. Michal as this is his first Pastoral assignment since being ordained a priest. Fr. Michal had previously served as Parochial Vicar to the parishes of Sacred Heart, St. Anthony, and St. Mary’s in Shumway.

Immediately following the Installation Mass, a reception will be held in the Sacred Heart Parish Center. A variety of Polish hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be served in honor of Fr. Michal’s Polish heritage.
