City Police Activity for June 29

A Greenup woman was injured in a rear-end collision at Willow and Eiche just after 4pm last Friday. Details were released today by Effingham city police.

The report states that a semi driven by 33-year-old Calvin Hilde of Audubon, Minnesota rear-ended a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Candis Carlen of Greenup.

Carlen was injured and was taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

No citations were issued.

A vehicle struck a pedestrian in Effingham Thursday night, but no injuries were reported.

City police say a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Maleia Croy of Effingham struck the pedestrian, who was a juvenile.

The juvenile was not injured. 

The crash occurred at 8:30pm at 510 Hendelmeyer. 

Croy was cited for driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
