Three Juveniles Arrested on Burglary, Drug Charges

Three Effingham juveniles have been arrested on burglary, drug and weapon charges.

Two 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old were arrested on counts of burglary, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of controlled substance, and possession of burglary tools.

Effingham Police Chief Jeff Fuesting said the charges stem from vehicle burglaries that occurred early Tuesday morning. All three of the juveniles were in possession of handguns.

The incidents occurred in the south part of Effingham.
