Two Injured in Effingham Crash Monday

Two people were injured in a crash in Effingham on Monday.

Effingham city police say a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Patricia Moe of Effingham rear-ended a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Thomas Hinkle of Flora.  The crash happened at 1:15pm north of the intersection of Henrietta and Fayette.

Hinkle and a passenger in Hinkle's vehicle, 71-year-old Ruth Hinkle of Flora, both sustained vehicles, but refused treatment. 

No tickets were issued.
