Odin Man Injured in Crash Near Effingham

An Odin man was injured in a crash near Effingham at Noon Wednesday.

State police report a SUV driven by 63-year-old Kyle Moore of Odin was traveling on the interstate one mile south of Effingham. Moore was heading west on I-70 at the trilevel when he attempted to travel left through the paved area connecting the two interstates to go southbound on I-57. Moore's vehicle struck a guardrail, rolled over and came to rest on its wheels in the area between the two interstates.

Moore was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. He was cited for improper lane usage.
