Stew-Stras Board Acts on Coaching Assignments

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members acted on a number of coaching assignments at this month's meeting.

The Board accepted the resignations of Allison Telgmann as junior high volleyball assistant coach, Jacob Haegan as junior high track coach, Mariah Bolin as Windsor/Stew-Stras high school boys track coach, and Corbin White as Windsor/Stew-Stras high school baseball assistant coach.

Board members hired Sarah Gentry as Windsor/Stew-Stras Coop head track coach, Silas Pogue as Windsor/Stew-Stras high school baseball head coach, Quinn Bennett as Windsor/Stew-Stras high school softball assistant coach, and Penny Hill as junior high Scholastic Bowl coach.

Also, the Stew-Stras board was updated on summer facility work. Superintendent Michelle Lindenmeyer said there was an electrical problem that delayed progress, but said it appears the projects are back on schedule.
