Dieterich Board Addresses Contract Matters

Dieterich school board members Monday approved a two-year contract for elementary principal Kathy Pattenaude. 

Pattenaude will be retiring at the end of the contract in June of 2019.

Meanwhile, the board approved a one-year contract for newly-hired junior-senior high school principal Scott Kocher. 

The Board also approved a 2-1/4% increase in support staff salaries for the coming school year, and hired Sara Deters as an elementary aide for the coming school year.

Pattenaude presented the Title Grant Plan for the coming year, and the Board voted to send the document to the State Board of Education for approval. The grant provides the Dieterich district with more than $100,000 per year to be used on instruction, supplies and curriculum for targeted students, and teacher professional development.

The Board also awarded a bid for fuel to South Central FS.
