Wilkey Makes Brief Court Appearance

Effingham resident Aaron Wilkey made a brief court appearance Thursday on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual assault.

The 27-year-old Wilkey is accused of improper actions against an eight-year-old family member on multiple occasions since last October.

A preliminary hearing for Wilkey was set for June 27. His bond remains at $250,000 and he must have no contact with anyone under age 18.
