Effingham Woman Injured in Crash at 4th and Fayette

An Effingham woman was injured in a collision at 4th and Fayette Saturday evening.
City police say a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Blaine McWhorter of Effingham struck a vehicle driven by 89-year-old Ilda Wendling of Effingham. Wendling was taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
McWhorter was cited for failure to yield.
