Juvenile Cases Concluded Against Four Individuals

Court proceedings have been concluded in Effingham County against four juveniles charged with multiple counts of theft and burglary.

Effingham County State's Attorney Bryan Kibler said the four male juveniles committed crimes in the Rolling Hills neighorhood in Effingham and around the village of Watson during the month of July last year. That included more than a dozen vehicles that were burglarized in Rolling Hills the night on July 5.

Kibler said authorities believe the juveniles were reponsible for at least 20 thefts and burglaries during the month of July alone. He said each of the four juveniles was involved in at least eight burglaries from vehicles in Rolling Hills.

Kibler said all four juveniles pleaded guilty and are incarcerated in the appropriate facility. He said they are seeking appropriate restitution from each juvenile.
