North Clay school board members Wednesday awarded a bid for mansard roof repair and masonry work at the grade school building in Louisville.

Evrard-Strang of Marion was awarded the bid for $147,000. It was the low bid submitted.

The Board approved a tentative amended budget for the fiscal year, and approved book rental and fees for the coming school year as well as the discount prepaid food plant for the coming year.

In personnel matters, the North Clay board accepted the resignation of Kyla Hall as a PE teacher and of Ronnie Hyder as a PE teacher and coach, approved a maternity leave for Kaitlin Zink in August and September, and accepted the resignation of Marcy Zerrusen as elementary teacher.

The Board named Josh Zink as head high school boys basketball coach and Kaitlin Zink as head high school volleyball coach for the coming school year, hired Vicky Hagen as high school and junior high Scholar Bowl coach, and hired Stacey Blair as high school cheerleading sponsor.
