Watson resident Jeana Kollman Thursday was sentenced to prison time on a count of possession of methamphetamine.

The 41-year-old Kollman pleaded guilty and was given a four-year sentence. The charge alleges that Kollman was found in possession of meth when she and four others in a car were stopped while traveling in a vehicle between Effingham and Altamont on February 25. All five occupants of the car were charged in the matter; Kollman's case is the first to be settled.

Another meth charge against Kollman was dismissed as part of settling the case.

Kollman was also fined $750 plus court costs.
