It was wall-to-wall people at the 2017 Effingham County CEO Trade Show Tuesday evening.

A revamped layout at the Thelma Keller Convention Center was well-received but, with 41 class members, things filled up quickly. There were several comments as to the professional air the trade show featured as well as compliments regarding the wide range of businesses and services the students were marketing. The variety of offerings stretched from photography to hair care products to professional services.

The Trade Show is the high point of the second semester for the CEO students, as the CEO Experience is the crowning moment of the first semester. Students talked about what they've learned as far as developing their businesses, but also discussed how they have gained confidence in speaking in public and interacting with adults.

This year's Entrepreneur of the Year award recipients were Sidney Webster and Alex Denoyer. Justin Gurley received the John H. Schultz Scholarship.
