An arrest has been made in connection with the Friday night fire that damaged a house in Effingham and left four people without a home.
Effingham City Police arrest 26-year-old Bryan K. Jones of Effingham. Jones was arrested on counts of aggravated arson and disorderly conduct. The arrest was made about 9:30 p.m. Sunday and came after city police interviewed Jones as to his possible involvement in the incident.

The four people displaced from their home by the fire are currently living with friends until permanent arrangements can be made. All of the home's contents were determined to be a total loss.
