The 2017 Rotary International Food Fair, sponsored by the Effingham Noon and Sunrise Rotary clubs, is set for Sunday, April 30.

This year's event will take place at a new location, the Effingham High School Hearts Rock Cafe, from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Effingham Rotarians and friends will be presenting foods from all over the world, including Ukraine, Bolivia, Germany, Cuba, France, Korea, Uganda and Egypt, as well as other nations.

Entertainment will be presented by Iglesia Bautista Latina de Effingham.

Tickets are $10 for adults, and $6 for those ages 6 to 11.

Proceeds will benefit Rotary's Bolivia project, designed to improve the diet and quality of life of the people in rural communities of Camata and Marumpampa, Bolivia, as well as the surrounding areas with special focus on better nutrition for school children. Work is also planned with people in that region to build a community center, plant gardens and raise animals.

Contract your favorite Rotarian for tickets.
