Local Man Injured When Cycle Collides w/Car

An Effingham man was injured when his motorcycle was struck by a car.
The crash happened at Maple and Temple at 3:32pm Thursday. City police say a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Carol Toney of Effingham struck a cycle operated by 62-year-old Johnny Berlin of Effingham.
Berlin was taken for treatment to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
No citations were issued.
