(NOON ROTARIANS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT A PORTION OF COMMUNITY PARK MARCH 29 COLLECTING TRASH AND OTHER DEBRIS. THE WORK FOCUSED ON THE AREA AROUND THE ROTARY PAVILION AT THE PARK)

Effingham Noon Rotary made March 29 a day to remember.

The club held their meeting at Community Park. The Noon and Sunrise Rotary clubs worked together a couple of years ago to place a pavilion near the playground area at Community Park. The gathering on the 26th was a chance to do some cleaning and sprucing up in the area around the pavilion in advance of Spring weather. Despite the blustery day, much work was accomplished.

The club then joined with Sunrise Rotary in honoring the top scholastic students at St. Anthony and Effingham high schools at the Society for Academic Achievement Banquet.
