Beecher City school board members this week approved waterproofing the Art room at the junior-senior high school building.

Helitech will do the work since water has been leaking into the room through the walls.

The Board approved a contract with Wabash Cooperative for phone and internet services. The district is dropping its contract with Frontier Communication. Also approved was an agreement with SEPCO, a group of school districts that band together to make commodity purchases at a lower cost.

Beecher City board members rehired Phil Lark as junior-senior high school principal for next year and rehired Rosa Milleville as grade school principal. Also, the Board approved a maternity leave request for Ashley Stevens, approved the honorable dismissal of Sherry Wright and Holly Richards, set high school graduation for Saturday, May 13, and authorized Superintendent Scott Cameron to start work on next year's budget.
