Effingham city police are still trying to determine who left a package at Rollin Hills Laundromat earlier this week.

Police were notified Monday morning regarding the package. Investigating officers decided the package was suspicious and called in the Illinois Secretary of State Police Bomb Squad. Their response vehicle is seen above parked at the laundromat Monday.

City Police Chief Jeff Fuesting declined to say what was inside the package, but did say it was no danger to the public. Fuesting said police would still appreciate information as to who left the package at the laundromat.
