Neoga High School boys baseball team is getting new jerseys. The Neoga Trivia Night made $2,500 for the team to get new jerseys.

First Place went to Our Family and a Friend with 89 points. Second place went to Nematodes with 86 points. There was a double tie (score and estimate) for third place. The Squids and Ain't That a Keck in the Head tied with 85 points. Amazingly enough, both teams predicted their score would be 85 points.

"We told them this was a first for the Booster Club and we did not know how to determine the winner," said Julie Williams. "We asked them what should we do? Split the money? Flip a coin and winner takes all? The Squids said, "We are donating the money back." Ain't that a Keck in the Head said," We're giving the money back." So third place ends in an official tie between the two teams.

"Also, although they did not have to do it, Our Family and a Friend and Nematodes donated their winnings back also. The Boosters are sincerely grateful for their donations.

"Luke Romack won the halftime Heads & Tails game out of 95 people. Luke is a student at Neoga and on his own, donated the money back. We told him he was a kid and it was okay for him to keep it. His mind was made up and we have Luke's money. Thank you Luke.

"Door prizes were won by Mary Holle, Dave Sudkamp, Katie O'Dell and Andy Janes. Many thanks to the players and volunteers who made this fundraiser a success."
