Altamont police arrested four individuals Saturday on drug charges.

20-year-old Jordan Kollman of Altamont, 18-year-old Tiffani Lindemann of Newton, 41-year-old Jeana Kollman of Watson and 23-year-old Robert Bone, Jr. of Effingham were each arrested along with a juvenile male.

Altamont police and Effingham County State's Attorney Bryan Kibler said the five were taken into custody during the noon hour Saturday. Kibler said the four adults were charged in court Monday on a count of possession of methamphetamine. Bone and Jordan Kollman were also each charged with manufacture or delivery of 30 to 500 grams of cannabis.

Kibler said a member of the public phoned police alleging a criminal complaint against the driver of the vehicle. Police responded and observed the vehicle cross the centerline, leading to the traffic stop. Police utilized a drug dog that detected drugs in the vehicle. 170 grams of cannabis was located in the vehicle. In addition, Bone was found to have over $7,000 on his person. Another $2,679 was found elsewhere in the vehicle.

Kibler said it is alleged that the group had gone to Effingham to make a drug sale, and were on their way to Fayette County to make a methamphetamine purchase when the traffic stop occurred. Police utilized phone records to boost their case and found drug equipment either in the vehicle or on the person of some of those taken into custody.

Kibler said the juvenile in the vehicle was charged separately.

In court Monday morning, Judge Amanda Ade-Harlow set bond for Bone and for Jeana Kollman at $100,000, at $25,000 for Jordan Kollman, and at $7,500 for Lindemann.

Altamont police were assisted by the Effingham County Sheriff's Department and the Southeast Illinois Drug Task Force in the investigation.
