Six-Year Prison Term for Centralia Man in Fayette County Court

A Centralia man has been sentenced in Fayette County to six years in prison.

26-year-old Marcus Currie was found guilty at a bench trial in January 2016 of unlawful possession of controlled substance. Sentencing finally took place a year later on Tuesday morning.

Currie has indicated he plans to appeal the verdict.
