An Effingham woman was injured in a crash in Effingham Thursday morning.

City police say the crash occurred at 8:22am at 407 South Henrietta.  A vehicle driven by 23-year-old Levi Lock of St. Elmo rear-ended a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Carol Mills of Effingham.

Mills was injured and was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.  Lock was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
