South Central school board members have approved a settlement agreement with teacher Sian Kuester, who is facing criminal charges in Marion County.

The agreement includes Kuester's immediate resignation as a teacher in the South Central district.

Kuester is charged with distributing pornographic cell phone messages to one of her male students during 2016. Her case is next due in court next week.

South Central board members approved a resignation from Wayne Hoard, a support staff bus driver, retroactive to January 13, and approved a letter of intent to retire from support staff member Patricia Jezek retroactive to January 8.
