Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the US. This year, the school will celebrate Catholic Schools Week from January 29 through February 4. The theme is “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.”
Here is the schedule:

Tuesday: Celebrating Our Students
Wednesday: Celebrating the Nation
Thursday: Celebrating Vocations
Friday: Celebrating Faculty, Staff & Volunteers
Saturday: Celebrating Families
SAGS Principal Matt Sturgeon said, “St. Anthony Schools are very blessed, in large part because of the kind and generous contributes of our parents and parishioners. We thank you for your many talents and gifts and ask that you join us today and throughout the week in special prayer for our schools and students.”
Anyone interested in learning more about St. Anthony Grade School is asked to contact Sturgeon. He would be happy to provide a personal tour and answer any questions you might have.
The Grade School will also have an Open House for interested families on February 15 from 4-7pm. Contact 217-347-0419 today to schedule your tour or to receive more information about the upcoming Open House.
