Kinmundy Police have arrested Steven Schultz, 29, of Kinmundy, for alleged domestic battery, resisting arrest and aggravated battery to a police officer.

Kinmundy Police say they first arrested Schultz for alleged domestic battery of an Alma woman.

When taken to the Marion County Jail, Schultz is accused of telling the Kinmundy officer, "I'm going to remember you" when the officer attempted to get him out of the squad car.

Schultz reportedly kicked at the officer and later, when being taken from the car, allegedly tried to push the officer towards a trash can. At that point, Schultz was knocked to the ground where he was held until additional help from the jail could assist.
